Georgina Warner, Salon Manager & Owner Georgina (or George as she likes to be known) has been in the hair industry for 18 years. She has a real passion for her line of work and as a result enjoys the challenge to achieve any hairstyle. George really enjoys managing the salon and she only wants what’s best for her clients – as long as they are happy, she is happy! She loves meeting new customers as well as seeing the friendly faces of loyal and long standing customers.

George passed her Hairdressing NVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 at the High Peak College Buxton, however by attending college for just one day a week, believes that she has gained most of her experience whilst working at a hair salon in Matlock over duration of three years. George then moved onto work for a short period at a gent’s barbershop, but quite swiftly moved on from here after realizing that she missed styling women’s hair also. She then found a hair stylist position in Bakewell where she remained for over 10 years and it was during this time that she took a year out to travel the world. And during this year in Sydney, Australia, George worked as a hair stylist to expand her knowledge and experience.

In 2010, back in Bakewell, the opportunity arose for George to open her own hair salon and she felt it was the right time to go on her own way. Bridge Street Hair Boutique was then born with the help of friends, family and supportive clients. A small, friendly, relaxed and professional salon has steadily built up into a busy, creative environment and following the first 12 months of successful trading, Bridge Street Beauty department was launched. The beauty salon has ben steadily building up a client following ever since. Bridge Street offers various ranges of treatments and by having both hair and beauty together under one roof, enables clients to have uninterrupted and continuous treatments.
